Pizzelles

Ingredients

  • 2 cubes of margarine, melted
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flavoring-anise, vanilla, or ???
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Beat eggs. Add sugar and beat more. Add flavoring and cooled, melted margarine. Add baking powder and gradually add flour.

Dough will be sticky and should drop from a spoon.

Drop two globs the size of large marbles onto cooker. Close and hook. Count to 20 then open and remove cookie. Make cooking adjustments as necessary as every cooker is different.
