Ingredients
- 1 lg bunch of fresh broccoli
- 4 c. water
- 4 cubes chicken bouillon
- 1 pt. half & half
- 2 c. grated cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1/3 c. flour
- Minced onion
- garlic clove (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Cut broccoli into small pieces. Bring to a boil in 4 cups of water. Boil for 5 minutes. Add bouillon and half and half. Simmer in saucepan. Melt butter and flour to make paste. Add to broccoli mixture. Continue to cook until thickened (approx 5 minutes). Add cheese, pepper, and a little minced onion.
