  • 1 ) 1 box white cake mix
  • 2 ) 1 package (3.4 oz.) instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 3 ) 3 eggs
  • 4 ) 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 5 ) 1 can (12 oz.) lemon-lime soda
  • Heat oven to 350 degrees, spray 9x13 pan. In a large bowl, beat cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, vegetable oil and soda on medium-high speed for 4 minutes. Scrape down sides of bowl after 2 minutes. Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

2. FROSTING:

1) 1 package (3.4 oz.) instant pistachio pudding mix
2) 1 1/2 cups milk
3) 1 (8 oz.) cool whip
4) 1/2 cup pistachio nuts, or chopped pecans, for garnish


In a large bowl, beat pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes on medium-high speed. Fold in cool whip. Frost cool cake with frosting. Garnish with chopped nuts. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
