There's nothing more mouthwatering than homemade lasagna oozing with cheese. It's not impossible to enjoy those yummy long-cooked flavors during this hectic time. We can, thanks to a few shortcuts.

Ingredients
- 12 lasagna noodles, broken into large pieces
- 1 pound hot Italian sausage, casing removed
- 1 (26-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
1.Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
2.Meanwhile, in a soup pot, cook sausage over medium-high heat for 6 to 8 minutes, or until no pink remains, stirring to crumble sausage; drain.
3.Add noodles and remaining ingredients; mix well.
4.Reduce heat to medium-low and cook 6 to 8 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese has melted. Serve immediately.
