Ingredients

  • 1 ) 8-10 pounds pork steaks or pork butts Edit Delete
  • 2 ) 3 pounds onion, chopped Edit Delete
  • 3 ) 3-4 heads of cabbage, cut up Edit Delete
  • 4 ) 6 beef bouillon cubes Edit Delete
  • 5 ) 4 cloves of garlic (crushed) Edit Delete
  • 6 ) 1 envelope onion soup mix Edit Delete
  • 7 ) salt, pepper, and garlic powder, to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Place pork, beef bouillon, garlic, onions and onion soup mix in a 18 quart slow cooker. Fill with water until all ingredients are covered. Cook for about 2 hours at 350. Add cut -up cabbage. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder and stir. Bring cooker back to a boil (on the edges) and then reduce heat to 250. Cook for at least 2 more hours. Stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste (if needed).
