Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
  • (or 9 Tbsp cocoa and 3 Tbsp margarine)
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour, sugar, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Add water, oil, melted chocolate, vinegar and vanilla. Beat on medium speed of electric mixer for 30 seconds or with wooden spoon for 1 minute or just until smooth. Spoon batter into muffin cups. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes.
