Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 TBS baking powder
- 1/3 c white sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 c buttermilk
- 1/4 c butter, melted
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 325. Grease 9x5 loaf pan.
2. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and baking soda. Blend egg and buttermilk together, and all at once to the flour mixture. Mix just until moistened. Stir in butter. Pour into prepared pan.
3. Bake for 65-70min or until toothpick inserted is clean.
