Ingredients
- 1 (23 oz) can mincemeat pie filling
- 1 (8 oz) can crush pineapple, drained
- 2 cups sliced cooking apples
- 1 (15 oz) pkg. refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Combine mincemeat, pineapple and apples in a large bowl;set aside
Fit 1 pie crust into a 9" pie plate according to package directions., Spoon mincemeat mixture into pie crust.
Roll remaining pie crust to press out fold lines; cut with a 3" leaf=shaped cutter. Mark veins on leaves with a pastry wheel or sharp knife. Arrange pastry leaves over mincemeat mixture; sprinkle pie with sugar.
Bake at 425 for 30-32 minutes or until golden. Shield edges of pie with strips of foil after 12 minutes to prevent excessive browning.
