Ingredients
- 4 cups boiling water, divided
- 1 (4 serving size) package berry blue gelatin
- 1 (4 serving size) package strawberry gelatin
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 tub (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
Preparation
Step 1
Stir 2 cups boiling water into each flavor gelatin in separate bowls at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir 1 cup cold water into each bowl.
Refrigerate blue gelatin 1 1/2 hours, or until thickened (spoon drawn through leaves a definite impression). Stir in blueberries. Pour into individual plastic cups or parfait glasses. Refrigerate 10 minutes or until set but not firm (should stick to finger when touched and should mound). Spread 3 1/2 cups whipped topping evenly over blue gelatin. Refrigerate.
Meanwhile, refrigerate strawberry gelatin 1 1/2 hours or until thickened. Stir in strawberries, Gently spoon over whipped topping layer.
Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Garnish with remaining whipped topping and additional fruit. Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.
