  • 1 cup flour
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 T. milk
  • 4 cube steaks, about 1 lb.
  • vegetable oil

Step 1

Combine the flour, 1 3/4 t. salt & 3/4 t. pepper. Beat egg and milk together. Dredge each steak in the flour mixture, then coat in egg mixture and dredge in flour mixture again. Let the steaks stand about 30 minutes. IN a heavy frying pan, heat about 1" oil over medium high heat. Dredge the steaks once more in the flour mixture. Fry the steaks in the hot oil, turning once, until golden brown, about 4 minutes.
