Buffalo Turkey Burgers

  • 2 T hot sauce
  • 2 t ground cumin
  • 2 t chili powder
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/8 t pepper
  • 1 lb. lean ground turkey
  • 4 whole wheat hamburger buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 2 celery ribs, chopped
  • 2 T fat-free blue cheese dressing



Step 1

In a large bowl, comine 1 T hot sauce, cumin, chili powder, garlic, salt and pepper. Crumble turkey over mixture and mix well. Shape into four patties.

In a large nonstick skilled coated with cooking spray, cook patties over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer reads 165 degrees and juices run clear.

Serve on buns with lettuce, celery, blue cheese dressing and remaining hot sauce.
