Chicken Taco Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 - 16 oz can chili beans
  • 1 - 16 oz can black beans
  • 1 - 15 oz can whole kernel corn drained
  • 1 - 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 - 12 oz can of beer
  • 2 - 10 oz cans of diced tomatoes with green chilies undrained
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 3 skinless chicken breast
  • shredded cheddar
  • sour cream
  • crushed tortilla chips

Preparation

Step 1

Place all in a slow cooker laying chicken breasts on top and gently pushing down to cover with liquids. Cook for 5 hours on low.

Remove chicken breasts and pull chicken apart (shred).

Continue to cook for 1 hour.


Top with cheese, sour cream, and tortilla chips.
