- 1 Cup of lentils
- 1 Cup on long grain rice
- 4 tablespoons of onion cubes
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- Cumin
- Salt
- All Spice

Step 1
1- Heat the oil. Add the onion.
2- When onions are brown, add the lentils and spices with one cup of water. Let it boil for 10 minutes.
3- Add the rice with the garlic clove and 1 1/2 cup of water.
Leave for 12 minutes or until the lentils and rice are cooked.
Serve warm with fried onion straws on the top. For sides: lettuce salad, tomato, pickles, and a small cup of yogurt.
