Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 can dulce de leche caramel flavoured sauce
- 1 cup chocolate chips melted
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 8 * 8 pan with parchment paper
2. In a medium bowl combine flour and icing sugar. Blend in butter using a pastry blender or your fingers
3. Press into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown
4. Bring caramel flavoured sauce to a boil over medium heat. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and spread over baked shortbread
5. Pour melted chocolate over caramel evenly. Chill in fridge until firm.
