Teriyaki Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Teriyaki marinade
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp. dark (toasted) sesame oil
  • 1 clove crushed garlic (large clove)
  • 1 beef flank steak - 1 1/2 to 2 lbs Orange slices
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine teriyaki marinade, onion, hioney, juice, sesame oil and garlic (reserve 3/4 cup for basting later).

With a sharp knife, lightly score both sides of steak in a crisscross pattern. Place beef and remaining marinade in a resealable plastic bag; turn to coat. Close bag and refrigerate 30 minutes, turn once.

Remove steak and discard marinade. Grill steak, uncovered, 17-21 minutes for medium-rare to medium doneness, basting occasionally with reserved 3/4 cup marinade; turn once. Place remaining marinade in a small saucepan;. place on grill and bring to a boil, boil 1 minute..

Meanwhile, carve steak diagonally across the grain into thin slices (reserve half for later). Arrange remaining steak on platter. Spoon hot marinade over steak as desired. Garnish with orange slices and rosemary.
