Ingredients

  • 1 lb. light brown sugar
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tblsp butter
  • 2 cups pecan pieces

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar and cream, stirring well. Microwave on high for 14 minutes, stirring after 7 minutes. Add butter, stir, then add pecans. Microwave on high 1 to 2 minutes. (I use 1 1/2 minutes) Drop by tablespoon onto wax paper.(Use second spoon to push off on to paper. Do NOT beat mixture after it reaches hard boil stage.


**IMPORTANT## If using an 1100 watt microwave please cook at 80% power, otherwise it will cook too quickly and get hard and crumbly.
