Ingredients

  • 2

    sticks unsalted butter, softened

  • 1

    cup light brown sugar

  • ½

    cup white sugar

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1

    tsp. vanilla

  • cups flour

  • 1

    sp. salt

  • 1-2

    tsp. ground cinnamon, or more if you like

  • 3

    cups cold-fashioned or quick oats

  • 1

    cup dried, sweetened cranberries*

  • 1

    cup white chocolate chips*

  • you can substitute raisins, dark chocolate chips and nuts for variation.

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. In large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and sugars. 3. Beat in eggs and vanilla until blended well. 4. In another mixing bowl, sift together flour baking soda, salt and cinnamon. 5. Stir in oats, cranberries and white chocolate chips. 6. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix well. 7. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
