Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup sifted powered sugar
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 t. almond extract
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup finely ground nuts

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar.
Add almond extract, vanilla, & egg.
Add flour, salt, and nuts. Mix well.
Chill
Roll into balls and place on a non-greased cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 400 degrees, until set, but not brown.
While still warm roll in powdered sugar.
Cool.
Roll in powdered sugar again.
Makes 4 dozen cookies
