Ingredients

  • 1

    cup butter or margarine

  • ½

    cup sifted powered sugar

  • 1

    t. vanilla

  • ¼

    t. salt

  • 1

    egg

  • ½

    t. almond extract

  • cups flour

  • ¾

    cup finely ground nuts

Directions

Cream butter and sugar. Add almond extract, vanilla, & egg. Add flour, salt, and nuts. Mix well. Chill Roll into balls and place on a non-greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 400 degrees, until set, but not brown. While still warm roll in powdered sugar. Cool. Roll in powdered sugar again. Makes 4 dozen cookies
