Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground lean beef
- 1 egg
- 1/4 lb. grated mozzarella
- 3 slices moist bread
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 quart spaghetti sauce
- 2 cup tomato juice
- box of manicotti shells
- 1/4 lb. mozzarella
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together beef, egg, mozzarella, bread, milk, salt, pepper, and parsley flakes. Stuff manicotti shells raw. Pour 1/3 of the spaghetti sauce in a 9" x 13" pan. Arrange manicotti in pan, tuck any left over meat in spaces. Pour rest of sauce over manicotti. Add 1 cup tomato juice. Cover with foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Remove foil, sprinkle with rest of mozzarella cheese. Bake 15 minutes longer, uncovered.
