Ingredients

  • 1 cup GF flour mix
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup pecans (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix dry ingredients first, then add liquids.
**DO NOT OVER MIX, USE WOODEN SPOON, NOT MIXER!
2. in a 8x8 pan, spray with Pam. Batter will be thick but pour into the pan.
3. In a small bowl mix:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons cocoa
1 cup water
Mix above dry ingredients together and sprinkle over cake mix
4. Pour 1 cup of water over dry ingredients and bake 45 - 50 minutes.

Serve with vanilla ice cream!
