Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 4 1 ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Melt the butter & chocolate in the top of a double boiler (a microwave would also work). Beat eggs & add sugar. When well mixed, add butter & chocolate mixture. Then add flour & vanilla. Pour into 9 x 13 baking dish. Sprinkle pecans on top. Bake for 30 minutes at 350. (Note: this is actually a double batch. Divide all ingredients in half for a single batch. A single batch never seems to be enough for us.)
