Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 cup (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
Preparation
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, shortening and sugars. Add eggs, one at time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in the oats, chocolate chips and marshmallows.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 1-2 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely.
