Mississippi Mud Cake

Ingredients

  • Cake:
  • 2 sticks butter, melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 T cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 13 oz marshmallow cream
  • 1 1/2 cup coconut
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Frosting:
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1 t vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, sugar, and cocoa. Add flour and coconut. Add nuts, eggs, and vanilla. Grease and flour pan. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Spread cream on while hot. Let cool, and frost.
