Mark's Crab Cakes

  • Serve with Sauce:
  • 1 lb crabmeat
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 t yellow mustard
  • 1/2 c mayo
  • 1/4 t worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 yellow onion, minced
  • 3/4 t old bay
  • 1 lemon
  • small handful chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 t black pepper
  • 1 c panko bread crumbs
  • mayo
  • honey
  • chinese mustard/grey poupon
  • hot sauce or horseradish
  • soy sauce
  • hot pepper sesame oil



Step 1

Put crabmeat in mixing bowl.
Add beaten eggs and Mix lightly.
Add wet ingredients, old bay and onions.
Toss parsley, pepper and panko together and then add to crab mixture.
On wax paper, for crab cakes to desired size.
In a skillet, heat 1/2" of veg oil to med-high heat.
Once heated, add cakes and fry on one side til golden brown and then turn over and do the same.
