Ingredients

    . CAKE: Edit Delete

    ) 1 package yellow cake mix with pudding Edit Delete

    ) 3 eggs Edit Delete

    ) ⅓ cup oil Edit Delete

    ) ½ cup water Edit Delete

  • 5

    ) ½ cup rum Edit Delete

  • 6

    ) 1 cup chopped pecans Edit Delete

  • Add Ingredient to this Sub Section

  • Preheat over to 325. Grease and flour 10" tube pan and sprinkle pecans over bottom of pan. Mix all cake ingredients together and pour batter over nuts. Bake one hour. Cool. Invert on serving plate. Prick top.

CAKE GLAZE: Edit Delete 1) 1 stick of butter Edit Delete 2) 1 cup sugar Edit Delete 3) 1/4 cup water Edit Delete 4) 1/2 cup rum Edit Delete Add Ingredient to this Sub Section Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in water and sugar and boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in rum. Glaze cake immediately. Spoon and brush glaze evenly over top and sides, allowing cake to absorb glaze. Repeat until all glaze is used up.
