Ingredients
- ICE CREAM:
- 8 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla sugar
- 1 (8 oz) carton whipped topping
- 5 tbsp. chocolate syrup
- APPLES:
- 4 cortland apples
- 1 jar cherry pie filling
- CRUMBS:
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup+4 tbsp. flour
- TOPPING:
- chocolate syrup
- 1/4 cup ground walnuts
Preparation
Step 1
ICE CREAM:
Beat egg whites on high speed until stiff. Gradually add sugar, yolks, and extract. In a separate bowl, beat whipped cream on high speed until stiff. Fold snow into whipped cream and mix gently. Add chocolate syrup and marbalize gently. Freeze.
APPLES:
Slice apples, and lay on a flat cookies sheet. Coat with at least 1 tbsp. pie filling.
CRUMBS:
Mix all ingredinets until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake apples at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
SERVING INSTRUCTIONS:
While still hot, place a slice of apple into a dessert cup. Place a scoop of ice cream onto hot apple. Pour a dash of chocolate syrup onto ice cream. Sprinkle some ground walnuts over chocolate syrup and serve.
