Ingredients
- 4 cups won bok cabbage, thinly slice
- 1/2 cup red cabbage, thinly shredded
- 2 cups watercress, leaves and small stems only
- 1/4 frozen peas, thawed
- 1 bunch green onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup mustard cabbage, thinly julienned
- 1 red bell pepper, ribs removed and julienned
- 1/4 cup cilantro, roughly chopped
- 1 cup carrot, grated
- 1/2 cup daikon, grated
Preparation
Step 1
Toss ingredients in a bowl and set aside in an air tight container.
*Dressing:*
3 tablespoons roasted sesame seeds
1/4 cup sesame oil
1/2 tablespoon ginger, peeled and finely grated
1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
2 cups mayonnaise
1/4 cup rice vinegar
4 tablespoon furikake
1 tablespoon shoyu
2 teaspoon fish sauce
3 limes, juiced
White pepper to taste
Fresh chilies, to taste (optional)
Combine dressing ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Pour over cole slaw when ready to serve.
Tips: If time permits, prepare cole slaw and dressing a day prior to serving. Dressing will keep in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
If you prefer a well marinated cole slaw, marinate with dressing 2 hours before serving.
If you prefer a crunchier cole slaw, mix with dressing just 1 hour before serving.
