Ingredients

    lb.s ground beef

  • 1

    lb. Italian sausage

  • 3

    small cans black beans (drain)

  • 1

    large can chili beans (don't drain)

  • 2

    cans diced tomatoes

  • 1

    large can tomato juice

  • 2

    T. tomato paste

  • 2-3

    T. chili powder

  • 1

    T. cumin

  • salt and pepper

  • ¼

    t. red pepper flakes

  • 2

    t. sugar

Directions

Brown ground beef and sausage. Drain if a lot of grease, otherwise don't. Add remaining ingredients and bring to simmer and cook 1 hr. Or slow cook in crock pot on low 3-5 hours. Serve with shredded cheddar, onions, oyster crackers or Fritos.
