Baked Veggie Treats

This time of year, sticky sweet snacks are everywhere. Here is a healthy and tasty option to tempt little hands.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked, mashed sweet potato
  • 1/4 cup cooked pureed spinach
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbs milk
  • 1 cup crushed whole wheat bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sweet potato, spinach, egg and milk
Form mixture into balls
Roll balls in crushed bread crumbs and place on cookie sheet
Bake until egg is thoroughly cooked.
