Strawberry Skillet Cake

Ingredients

• 1 c. sour cream
• 1/2 c. milk
• 2 tbsp. sugar
• 2 pkgs. strawberry muffin mix
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 1/3 c. flour
• 1/4 c. cold butter, cut into pieces

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350. Grease 10" cast iron skillet. In large bowl, combine sour cream, milk, and sugar; mix well. Add muffin mix; stir to blend. Spread batter in greased skillet. In small bowl, stir together flour and sugar. With pastry blender or fork, cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over batter. Bake 35-40 mins. or till golden brown and cake begins to pull away from skillet sides. Let cool 15 mins. Cut into wedges, place on serving plate & top with smucker's strawberry preserves (optional)
