Small, delicate, and completely rich!
- 1 1/2 C butter
- 1 1/4 C powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 C finely ground pecans
- 3 1/4 C flour
Preparation time 20mins
Cooking time 65mins
1. Cream butter. Mix in 2 T sugar and yolk. Beat until smooth. Stir in nuts.
2. Gradually add flour to make a dry dough. Form dough into small balls. Bake at 275 deg. for 45 minutes until delicately browned. Let cool 5 minutes on baking sheet.
3. Place warm cookies on a layer of powdered sugar. Sift additional sugar over top. Let stand til cool.
