  • 10 slices bread
  • 1 lb. cubed ham or 1 lb. bits of fried & dried bacon
  • 1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, grated
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt



Step 1

Butter generously the bread, trim the crusts off and cut into 1 inch cubes. Put into 9x13 inch baking dish. Add ham or bacon and cheese in layers over bread. Beat eggs, add milk and salt. Pour ingredients and let stand over night in refrigerator. Bake 350, 35-45 minutes.
