    lb ground beef

    tablespoons onion, chopped

  • teaspoon garlic powder

    cup spaghetti sauce

    ounces cream cheese

    ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained

  • 4

    ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • 2

    tablespoons parmesan cheese


Brown the meat with the onion; drain. Mix garlic and spaghetti sauce; season to taste and heat until bubbly. Soften the cream cheese in a medium-size microwave bowl for 40-60 seconds. Stir until cream; beat in egg and pepper with spoon until well mixed; blend in spinach spread half the meat mixture evenly in bottom of greased 8 x 8 glass baking pan. spread spinach mixture over the meat; top with mozzarella and rest of meat. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese Bake at 350 for 30 minutes 6-9 servings: 1/9 recipe: 245 calories; 19 g fat, 15g protein; 3.5 g carbs; 1 g fiber
