Balsamic Glazed Pork Loin

Ingredients

  • Pork:
  • 2 pound boneless pork loin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 clove garlic, finely minced or crushed
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Glaze:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, light or dark
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Step 1

Combine the salt, pepper and garlic in a small bowl. Rub the mixture over the pork loin.
Place pork loin in the crock pot. Pour water over the pork loin and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
When the pork loin is almost done cooking combine the glaze ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally until the mixture thickens.
Remove the pork loin from the crock pot and slice. Place on serving plate and drizzle glaze over the pork loin
