Chocolate Caramel Brownies
- 1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix
- 2/3 c. condensed milk
- 6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 14 oz. pkg. caramels
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Combine cake mix w/ 1/3 c. condensed milk, butter, and nuts. Mix well. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish w/ cooking spray; press half the cake mixture into baking dish and bake for 5 min. Remove from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, melt caramels w/ remaining condensed milk & pour over chocolate chips, crumble remaining cake mix over caramel & return to oven for 15-18 mins. Remove & cool completely before cutting into squares.
