Twinkie Cake

Ingredients

• 1 yellow cake mix
• 5 Tablespoons flour
• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 teaspoons salt
• 1/2 cup Crisco
• 1/2 cup margarine
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Bake cake in a 9x13 inch pan as directed on cake box and let cool. Remove from pan and split in half.
Boil flour and milk until thick, stirring constantly. Cool.
Beat sugar, salt, Crisco, margarine and vanilla until fluffy.
Add to thickened flour mixture and beat until fluffy again. Spread on half of cake and top with other half.
