Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • Sweetener to taste
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein

Step 1

1. Bring milk and water to boil in small pan. Add oats and cinnamon. Reduce heat and simmer until liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally. Stir in pumpkin, sweetener and almonds. Combine whey protein with 1/4 cup of water in separate bowl. Pour protein mixture over oatmeal and serve.
