Ingredients

  • 6-8 baking apples, peeled and sliced thinly
  • 1/2-3/4 cup sugar
  • 1-2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crust (total of 2 crusts)

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425.

Place one pie crust in pie plate and sprinkle a little sugar over it. In a large bowl, mix apples, sugar and cinnamon together til mixed well. Place apples in pie crust. Sprinkle flour over apple mixture and then put pats of butter all over apple mixture. Place the other pie crust on top and sprinkle a little bit of sugar over top. Make an "X" in top of crust to vent the pie.

Bake at 425 for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350 and bake an additional 40 minutes.
