Tempering

To get chocolate to set at room temperature, you have to temper it.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate (8oz)
  • shortening (1 teaspoon)
  • Also just use candy coating (melted) instead.
  • Such as almond bark

Preparation

Step 1

Melt chocolate and add 1 teaspoon shortening.
Just dip candies to be coated or fruit.
