Ingredients

  • 3

    slices bacon, diced

  • 1

    lb. ground beef

  • ½

    C. chopped onion

  • C. diced green pepper

  • 3

    C. canned tomatoes

  • ½

    C. rice, uncooked

  • 1

    tsp. chili powder

  • ¾

    tsp. salt

  • tsp. pepper

Directions

Fry bacon until crisp. Add beef, onion, and green pepper; brown. Drain. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 30 minutes or until rice is done.
