Ingredients

  • 3 slices bacon, diced
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 C. chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 C. diced green pepper
  • 3 C. canned tomatoes
  • 1/2 C. rice, uncooked
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Step 1

Fry bacon until crisp. Add beef, onion, and green pepper; brown. Drain.

Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 30 minutes or until rice is done.
