Carne Asada Tacos

This recipe is for when I've already bought meat that's already been marinated into Carne Asada, so this is just for what to do with it once you have it. To actually create the Carne Asada itself, see the Carne Asada Marinade recipe.

Ingredients

• 1-2 lbs of Carne Asada steak, cut into thin strips
• Green enchilada sauce, if desired
• Flour tortillas, taco size
• Sharp cheddar cheese, to taste
• Green onions, to taste
• Cilantro, to taste
• Salsa or Pico de Gallo
• Lettuce or red cabbage

Preparation

Step 1

Cut steak into thin strips

Drench in the green enchilada sauce to taste (or not)

Prepare other ingredients to taste

Warm tortillas over open gas flame on stove, turning after it bubbles a little

Serve with all of the condiments or add what you want to taste
