Date Muffins

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 3 tsp baking powder OR 2 cream of tarter and 1 soda
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/4 cup shortening
• 1 egg
• 1 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Cut up dates, soften with water, stir to soften add to rest of ingredients, put in muffin tins.
