Ingredients

  • 3 cups white bread cubes, crust removed
  • 2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 (4 1/2 ox) can/fresh sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup ham, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • Dash hot sauce

Preparation

Step 1

In 2-qrt oblong GLASS baking dish, place bread. Sprinkle with cheese, green onion and mushrooms. Top with ham cubes. Beat together eggs, milk, dry mustard, pepper and hot sauce. Pour over ham. Cover with wax paper. Microwave at MEDIUM HIGH (7) 12 to 15 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes.

TO COOK BY COMBINATION: Place metal rack on turntable. Preheaat oven to 350. Cook on Combination 21-26 minutes, uncovered, until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes

TO COOK BY CONVECTION: Place metal rack on turntable. Preheat oven to 350. Convection Bake 30-35 minutes, uncovered, until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
