Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 C. chopped onion
- 3 C. water
- 1 C. chopped carrot
- 1 C. diced celery
- 1 C. pared, cubed potatoes
- 1 large can whole tomatoes
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1/8 tsp. basil

Step 1
In large pan, cook and stir ground beef until brown; drain. Cook and stir onions with meat until onions are tender.
Stir in remaining ingredients; heat to boiling.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
