The best lasagne I've ever had! I'm not sure where my mom found this recipe, but I have never found another lasagne that compared to it.

Ingredients
- Meat Sauce:
- 12 lasagne noodles (whole wheat noodles taste great too)
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 med. onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 10 oz mushrooms
- 16 oz tomato sauce
- 11 oz tomato paste
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp oregano
- 3/4 cup water
- Cheese Mixture:
- 2 eggs (slightly beaten)
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp oil

Preparation
Step 1
Boil lasagne noodles in a pot of water until softened. Drain and set aside.
Brown ground beef with onion & garlic. Stir in mushrooms with liquid, tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, oregano, and water. Simmer 15 min.
Combine eggs, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, salt, and oil.
Spread 1/3 of meat sauce on a 9x13 baking dish. Cover with a layer of noodles (4 noodles). Spread 1/3 of cheese mix. Sprinkle with mozzarella. Repeat layers, ending with mozzarella on top.
Bake @ 350° for 20-30 min.
