Ingredients
- 1 LB GROUND BEEF
- 1 TBSP OIL
- 3 CUPS FROZEN POTATOES O'BRIEN WITH ONIONS AND PEPPERS
- 1 CUP CHUNKY STYLE SALSA
- 2 TSP CHILI POWDER
- 4 OZ SHREDDED COLBY MONTERREY JACK CHEESE
Preparation
Step 1
1 BROWN BEEF IN SKILLET UNTIL THOROUGHLY COOKED. REMOVE THE BEEF FROM SKILLET, COVER TO KEEP WARM.
2 IN SAME SKILLET HEAT OIL OVER MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL HOT. ADD POTATOES, COOK AND STIR 8-10 MINUTES OR UNTIL BROWNED.
3 STIR IN SALSA, CHILI POWDER, AND COOKED BEEF. COOK 5-8 MINUTES OR UNTIL THOROUGHLY HEATED. STIRRING OCCASIONALLY
4 SPRINKLE WITH CHEESE. COVER, COOK 2-4 MINUTES OR UNTIL CHEESE IS MELTED
