Ingredients
- 1 pound butter
- 2 pounds brown sugar
- 1 pint dark Karo syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 can Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk

Preparation
Step 1
Melt in a large kettle. Cook on medium heat. Bring to 240 degrees (using a candy thermometer). Put in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir frequently. Bring to 245 degrees. Place in a "well" buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool. Cut and enjoy.
