  • 1 CUP SHORTENING
  • 1 CUP PEANUT BUTTER
  • 1 CUP SUGAR
  • 1 CUP PACKED BROWN SUGAR
  • 2 EGGS
  • 1 TSP VANILLA
  • 2 1/2 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
  • 2 TSP BAKING SODA

Preparation

Step 1

CREAM FIRST 4 INGREDIENTS, BEAT IN EGG AND VANILLA. STIR TOGETHER FLOUR AND SODA AND 1/4 TSP SALT. BLEND INTO BATTER, FORM INTO 1 INCH BALLS AND PLACE ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET. FLATTEN SLIGHTLY AND PLACE CHOC STAR IN THE MIDDLE. BAKE AT 350 FOR 10 MINUTES.
