Ingredients
- 2 lbs Sausage - bulk (hot or mild)
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
- 1 Can Cream of Chicken soup
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 cup Chopped onions
- 1/4 cup Green & Red bell peppers (each)
- 1 30 oz pkg Frozen Hash Brown Shredded Potatoes - thawed
- 1 8 oz Container of French Onion Dip
Preparation
Step 1
In a skillet, cook sausage until browned. Drain Well. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cheese, chicken soup, sour cream, french dip, chopped onion, bell peppers, salt and pepper. Fold in thawed hash brown potatoes. Mix well. Spread one-half of the hash brown mixture over bottom of a 9x13 greased baking dish. Spread 1/2 of the browned sausage over hash browns. Spread the remaining layer of hash browns and then the remaining sausage. Top with remaining sausage.
Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour until casserole is golden brown.
