Banana Bread Doughnuts with Nutella Glaze

They are delicious, little banana delights topped off with a seriously sinful Nutella glaze. Plus, sprinkles, that are purely for fun.
A delicious way to make bananas a little more practical.

Ingredients
- for doughnuts:
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup + 2 TBSP sugar
- 2 TBSP canola oil
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup mashed banana
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 TBSP vanilla yogurt
- for glaze:
- 1/2 cup Nutella spread
- 1/3 cup whipping cream
Preparation
Step 1
for doughnuts:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease/spray doughnut pan.
In a mixing bowl, mix together egg and sugar. Add in banana, vanilla, oil and yogurt. Mix until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
Add the dry ingredients into your wet ingredients slowly. Mix until combined.
Spoon or pipe batter into prepared doughnut pan. Filling each about 2/3 full.
Bake for 10 minutes or until they are fluffy and spring back.
Cool for 5-10 minutes before removing from pan.
for glaze:
In a bowl, mix together Nutella and cream until smooth. Spread on cooled doughnuts or dip tops in glaze.
